Israel has been battling Hamas in Gaza for less than a year in an attempt to destroy the terrorist organisation since it launched attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023.
Israel’s largest airstrikes on Lebanon in almost 20 years were conducted in September, targeting the Hezbollah movement, which has been attacking Israel in support of the Palestinians, and so widening the conflict.
