According to the Election Commission (EC), there have been 28 violent incidents linked to the 2024 presidential election between July 31, 2024, as of yesterday (11). The EC said that 3406 complaints were received between July 31 and September 10; these significant instances were among them.

3305 complaints, according to the EC, concerned breaches of election law, while 73 complaints were classified as miscellaneous issues unrelated to the election.
