Syrian official media said last Monday morning that 14 people had died and another 40 had been injured as a result of Israeli attacks that occurred throughout the night in Syria.
Late on Sunday, Israeli attacks struck many locations in central Syria, causing damage to a highway in Hama province and igniting fires, according to the Syrian official news agency SANA. Four people were among the first deaths listed by the Masyaf National Hospital in the western province of Hama.
According to SANA and hospital director Faysal Haydar, there were 14 fatalities and 43 injuries. At least four of the dead were civilians, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor stationed in the United Kingdom.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, some of the attacks targeted locations where “Iranian militias and experts are stationed to develop weapons in Syria,” while others targeted a scientific research centre in Maysaf. Strikes were also reported by the local media in and around Tartous, a seaside city.
The Israeli military did not immediately provide a statement. Although it hardly ever admits or talks about the operations, Israel has launched hundreds of attacks on targets within government-controlled areas of war-torn Syria in recent years.
The attacks frequently target organisations with Iranian support or Syrian military.
Israel has pledged to halt Iranian encroachment in Syria, especially as Syria serves as a vital conduit for Iran’s arms transfers to Hezbollah, a terrorist organisation based in Lebanon.Over the last 11 months, Hezbollah and Israeli soldiers have clashed in the context of Israel’s campaign against Hamas, Hezbollah’s allies in Gaza.
