Dayasiri Jayasekera of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Mano Ganesan of the Democratic People’s Front (DPF), Palani Thigambaram of the National Union of Workers (NUW), Rauff Hakeem of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC), Dullas Alahapperuma of Nidahasa Janatha Sabawa (NJS), and a number of other parties joined SJB yesterday.
