Ranjith Maddumabandara, general secretary of SJB, stated that Sri Lanka was dealing with a number of problems.The neoliberal policies of Ranil Wickremesinghe is unable to pull the nation out of its current economic quagmire. Dayasiri Jayasekera of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP), Mano Ganesan of the Democratic People’s Front (DPF), Palani Thigambaram of the National Union of Workers (NUW), Rauff Hakeem of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC), Dullas Alahapperuma of Nidahasa Janatha Sabawa (NJS), and a number of other parties joined SJB yesterday.
