On behalf of Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, SJB General Secretary MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara, along with MPs SM Marikkar and Mujibur Rahuman, made a deposit at the Election Commission yesterday, March 31.Four presidential candidates for Sri Lanka’s 2024 presidential election have already made deposits, the Election Commission announced last week.
“Sajith made a deposit.”
The first to deposit his money was former deputy minister Sarath Keerthirathne, who did so after the Commission announced the election date of September 21. President Ranil Wickremesinghe, activist Oshala Herath, and businessman A.S.P. Liyanage later joined him.
