The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced that applications are now open online for jobs in the construction sector in Israel.
To apply, candidates can register on the SLBFE website at www.slbfe.lk. The application link will be open until September 14, 2025.

The job categories available for application are: Renovation workers (installing electrical plugs, building walls, putty work, partitions) Ceramic tile layers Plasterers
A total of 1,500 applicants will be recruited for these positions.
To be eligible, applicants must not have previously worked in Israel, be between the ages of 25 and 45, and have passed at least the 10th grade. They must also have excellent skills and experience in their chosen job category. Successful candidates will receive a 63-month contract.
After an initial screening, the National Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) will conduct a preliminary skills assessment at its district centers. Applicants who pass this assessment will be referred to the NAITA office in Katubedda for a final test. The names of those who pass the final test will be sent to the PIBA organization in Israel to be included in a lottery system for selection.
The SLBFE also advises the public not to pay any money to external parties to secure these jobs, as such transactions are illegal.
