The 36th Sarasaviya Awards Ceremony was held last night (24th) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH).

Several awards were presented at the event, including Best Film of the Year, Best Director of the Year, Best Actor of the Year, Best Actress of the Year, Best Supporting Actor of the Year, and Best Tamil Film of the Year.

The ceremony was attended by a large number of public representatives, artists, and guests, including Minister of Health and Mass Media Nalinda Jayatissa, Minister of Justice and National Integration Harshana Nanayakkara, and Mayor of Colombo Municipal Council Vrai Cali Balthazar.
