“Special announcement for Sri Lankans wishing to leave Iran”
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism announced that the Government of Sri Lanka has collaborated with the Government of India to facilitate air travel for all Sri Lankans currently in Iran and those wishing to depart from Iran.
Accordingly, any Sri Lankan expecting to leave Iran can contact the Indian Embassy in Tehran via Telegram or through the following emergency hotlines:
