The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has issued an urgent notice for Sri Lankan citizens currently in Sri Lanka who are employed in Israel.

Due to the prevailing war situation and the closure of airports, if you are unable to return to Israel on your scheduled dates, you must inform the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel about your situation.

Nimal Bandara, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, stated that if visas expire under the current circumstances, these individuals will not be able to return to Israel. Therefore, it is crucial to inform the Embassy about your situation today (15).

The Embassy intends to discuss visa extensions with the Israeli government.
