The newest Airbus A330-200 aircraft, joining the SriLankan Airlines fleet, arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake this morning (04) from Paris, France.
This A330-200 aircraft, which will be part of the SriLankan Airlines fleet for long and short-haul operations connecting Sri Lanka to the world, flew at a low altitude over Colombo and Katunayake this morning, giving aviation enthusiasts in the country their first chance to see it.
The aircraft was seen flying at an altitude of approximately 1,500 feet along the Colombo coastline, from the southern end of the Port City to Moratuwa. Many people gathered at Galle Face Green to witness this sight.
