The Acting Minister of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, Janitha Ruwan Kodituwakku, yesterday (28) joined a special observation to review the progress of the housing complex being constructed in Kottawa, Malapalla.

This housing complex, consisting of 120 houses, has been built with the aim of resettling residents currently living on lands belonging to the Railway Department. Residents who were residing on railway lands from Nawinna to Padukka are scheduled to be resettled in this housing complex.

The Minister instructed that this project, for which much of the work has already been completed, should be expedited and vested with the public
