“The number of tourists who visited the country within the last 5 months exceeds one million”
The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority states that the number of tourists who visited the country in the first 5 months of 2025 has exceeded one million.
Accordingly, the authority says that the number of tourists who arrived in the country up to May 25th is 1,006,097.
The Tourism Development Authority further stated that an additional 109,213 tourists arrived in May up to May 25th.
