The French Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Rémi Lambert, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism, vijitha Herath, at the Ministry today (19).
The Ambassador appreciated the visionary economic program being implemented by the Sri Lankan government and stated that the French government is very willing to work cooperatively with Sri Lanka in international affairs.
“France expresses willingness to quickly finalize the restructuring of the bilateral loan agreement”
The Minister requested the Ambassador to expedite the finalization of the bilateral loan agreement restructuring between Sri Lanka and France, and the Ambassador informed that the French government is willing to conclude these matters in a way that is beneficial to both parties.
