After a two-day conclave, America’s Robert Prevost was elected as the new Pope yesterday (08) afternoon Vatican time.
Accordingly, he is 69 years old and has been named Pope Leo XIV, and is also the 267th Pope of the world.
Furthermore, he has made history by being the first Pope elected from America.
