“Special security for the local government election”
The Police Media Division states that a special security plan for the local government elections commenced yesterday (04) morning.
It further stated that 3,216 mobile patrols are being conducted island-wide, and 65,000 police officers have been deployed for security. The Police Media Division also mentioned that the assistance of army personnel will be obtained as needed.
