Today is the third day for marking postal ballots for the Local Government elections.

Accordingly, R.M.A.L. Rathnayake, the Chairman of the Election Commission of Sri Lanka, stated that eligible government officials who were unable to mark their postal ballots on the 24th and 25th have been given the opportunity to do so today (28) and tomorrow (29).

The Chairman of the Election Commission further emphasized that the time allocated for marking postal ballots will not be extended.
