The Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs is organizing a drawing opportunity for children participating in the sacred Tooth Relic pilgrimage. This initiative commenced yesterday morning (18) with the participation of the Minister of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senevi; the Deputy Minister, Gamagedara Dissanayake; and government officials.
“An opportunity for children participating in the sacred Tooth Relic pilgrimage to create drawings”
This program is scheduled to run from yesterday (18) until the 27th of this month.
Accordingly, it will begin daily at 8:30 a.m. in front of the Queen’s Hotel in Kandy, and drawing facilities have been provided for 450 children per day.
Every participating child will be awarded a valuable certificate.
