For the commencement of the “Sacred Tooth Relic Veneration” today (18), a number of ambassadors, high commissioners, and other diplomats from various countries are scheduled to join President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Representing India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, Netherlands, Palestine, France, New Zealand, Korea, Canada, Thailand, Cuba, Egypt, Japan, and the United Kingdom, this group commenced their journey to Kandy from the Colombo Fort Railway Station around 7:00 AM in a special observation carriage of a train bound for Kandy.
