Issuing its latest data report, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) reveals that the total number of tourists who have arrived in the country so far in 2025 is 816,191.
According to this, 93,915 tourists have arrived in Sri Lanka during the first 15 days of April. The report further indicates that the highest number of tourist arrivals during the first 15 days of April was recorded on April 12th, with 7,585 visitors.
“Tourist arrivals exceed 800,000”
The Tourism Development Authority highlights in its report that the highest number of tourists during this period originated from India, with 18,220 arrivals.
Additionally, the report notes significant tourist arrivals from the United Kingdom 11,425, Russia 8,705, and Germany 7,746.
