At the meeting held yesterday (28), the Monetary Policy Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka decided to maintain the current monetary policy stance at its existing level.

Accordingly, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka’s Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) will remain unchanged at 8.00%.
