Bail has been granted to former State Minister Lohan Ratwatte, who was arrested and placed under remand for causing a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.
According to a media reporter, he appeared before the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court yesterday (9), where he was granted bail.

On December 6, Ratwatte was taken into arrest for causing an accident while driving under the influence of alcohol and threatening the person who was wronged.
He was then brought before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court on December 7 and remanded until December 9.
