Speaker Dr. Asoka Ranwala will preside over the Parliament when it convenes at 9.30 a.m. today (03).
The government’s policy statement debate is set to begin today and continue tomorrow.
Accordingly, today’s debate will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the motion on the Government Policy statement that the President recently submitted to Parliament.

In the meanwhile, the Parliamentary Communications Department said that a division on the Motion has been scheduled for tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.
On December 5 and 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Resolution on the Vote on Account pertaining to the first four months of 2025 will be debated.
