Deputy Inspector Generals of Police (DIGs) and other senior police officers have been transferred, according to the Police Media Division.

SSP H.W.I.S. Muthumala, a female SSP, has taken over as Director of CID after SSP E.M.M.S. Dehideniya was transferred to Nugegoda Division.
