Discussions about the third review under the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Extended Fund Facility program were successfully concluded yesterday said the Sri Lankan government.
According to the President’s Media Division (PMD), a delegation from the IMF, led by Senior Mission Chief Peter Breuer, attended the meeting at the Presidential Secretariat.

Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development, headed the delegation as the representative of the Sri Lankan government.
As a result, the IMF and Sri Lankan government’s discussions about the third review were successfully completed, the statement said.
On the third review under the Extended Fund Facility (EFF), representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are expected to issue a statement this morning.
