After the Deepavali holiday on October 31, all government Tamil-medium schools in the Central and Uva Provinces will be closed on Friday, November 1.
“Government Tamil schools will be closed on Friday in two provinces”
The Zonal Education Directors have stated that these schools would operate on Saturday, November 9, in order to cover up for the extra holiday.
