According to civil aviation regulations, an investigation is currently underway “regarding the incident on flight UL 607” from Sydney to Colombo on September 21, as stated by SriLankan Airlines.

The airline said that the captain of the flight has been grounded pending the outcome of the investigation and that it is fully cooperating with the appropriate authorities.
SriLankan Airlines further underlined that maintaining regulatory compliance and safety remain to be its top priorities.
