The security detail for former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, which consists of 50 Special Task Force (STF) personnel, will not alter, as confirmed by Police Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa.
“Security from police for the former President Ranil Wickremesinghe remain unchanged”
He did, however, add that the number of personnel needed for the former president’s security will soon be reviewed and allocated.
