Dr. S. Jaishankar, the visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs, paid President Anura Kumara Dissanayake a visit in Colombo this afternoon (04).
In a post on “X,” Dr. Jaishankar said that he had sent Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indian President Droupadi Murmu his best wishes for President Dissanayake’s appointment.
Regarding India-Sri Lanka relations, the Indian Minister of External Affairs expressed gratitude for Dissanayake’s “warm sentiments and guidance.”

The discussions, said to the new president of Sri Lanka, focused on boosting investment, energy, and tourism cooperation.
