Asela Madusanka, the Commissioner of Buddhist Affairs (Development), stated today (18) during a press conference held at the Department of Government Information to brief on the National Vesak Festival, that Buddhist flags should not be used to direct people when holding Dansal (alms-giving stalls), and instead, yellow flags must be used hereafter.
Asela Madusanka further mentioned that the relevant circular for this has also been issued with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers.”
