U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran via a post on his Truth Social account.

In his statement, President Trump presented several key conditions for implementing this ceasefire, the primary one being that Iran must agree to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Furthermore, he characterized this truce as a “double-sided ceasefire” affecting both parties. It is noted that under this two-week agreement, the United States proposes to suspend all attacks and bombings currently directed at Iran.
