Today marks Good Friday, the day commemorating the Passion, crucifixion, and death of Jesus Christ.
Christian devotees, who have been reflecting through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity during the Lenten season that began on Ash Wednesday, will join special services held in churches today.

While devotees perform the prescribed rituals in remembrance of the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, Catholic churches will concurrently hold a Three-Hour Service.
According to Christian belief, it is stated that on the Sunday following Good Friday, Christ rose from the dead.
