The Department of Examinations has announced that the results of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination have been released. The department states that results can be accessed by visiting the official websites, www.doenets.lk or www.results.exams.gov.lk.

The 2025 A/L examination was conducted at 2,362 examination centers across the island, with a total of 281,810 candidates appearing for the exam. This total includes 221,413 school candidates and 60,397 private candidates. In its statement, the Department of Examinations further notes that 176,527 candidates have qualified to apply for university entrance, comprising 146,405 school candidates and 30,122 private candidates.
