Another fuel ship arrived in the island this morning (16), according to Mayura Neththikumarage, the Managing Director of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC).

He stated that arrangements have been made to begin unloading the fuel today itself. The vessel contains 18,000 metric tons (MT) of Diesel, 17,000 MT of Petrol, and 3,000 MT of Super Diesel.

Managing Director Mayura Neththikumarage further added that all vessels currently ordered are arriving in the country. He also noted that steps have been taken to distribute fuel according to the orders received from filling stations.
