The destruction of a stock of illegal narcotics related to concluded legal proceedings took place today (13) in Puttalam.

The destroyed stock included 40 kg and 539 g of heroin, 132 kg of khat, 55 g of cocaine, and 3,482 narcotic pills. These substances were transported to the incineration center in Vanathavilluwa, Puttalam, under the tight security of the Special Task Force (STF) for disposal.
