“Ready to support government in advancing the Tourist industry”
– Senior Lecturer Chandrasiri Jayadeva Sudusinghe
Senior Lecturer in Tourism, Chandrasiri Jayadeva Sudusinghe, speaking at an interview with the International ‘Serenbona’ Magazine, stated that he possesses the capability to elevate the country’s tourism industry to its highest level within five years.
During the discussion, Sudusinghe expressed his confidence in the current government, including the President, as well as the Minister of Tourism, Vijitha Herath. He emphasized that he is able to support the government in bringing the tourism industry to a peak level without any expectation of profit. Furthermore, he expressed his willingness to volunteer his services to travel across the country to conduct awareness programs at both the school and regional levels.
Further sharing his views, Sudusinghe stated that he expects government intervention to further expand the international Sri Lanka promotion programs he has already initiated. He expressed optimism about receiving an opportunity to meet and discuss these matters with Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath.
Having been engaged in the field for forty years, Sudusinghe expressed his firm belief that the current government will utilize the vast experience, knowledge, and international connections he has gained. He reaffirmed his readiness to provide his sincere service to the country without seeking any personal gain.
