Litro Gas Company has announced that the distribution of 300,000 domestic gas cylinders has commenced starting today (23).

The company stated that measures are being taken to release these cylinders to the market effective immediately. This follows the arrival of a vessel carrying 3,900 metric tons of gas at the Colombo Port yesterday (22). Unloading operations for the shipment also began yesterday.

Furthermore, Litro Gas confirmed that two more gas shipments are scheduled to arrive in the country on the 25th and 28th of this month.
