Litro Gas has issued a statement assuring the public that there will be no gas shortage in the future and that sufficient stocks are currently available.

While acknowledging a slight disruption in the supply chain due to an unexpected surge in market demand, the company urged consumers not to engage in any “panic buying” or unnecessary alarm.

To further stabilize the supply, three ships carrying gas are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka before the end of this month.

The company emphasized that all necessary stocks have already been ordered to meet requirements.

According to the statement, 284,000 domestic cylinders were released to the market on February 17th and 18th alone.
