The Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel has issued a special notice to the Sri Lankan community residing in the country, advising them to remain constantly vigilant regarding the escalating security situation across the Middle East.

According to the statement, the Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, stated that the Israeli security forces are fully prepared to manage any potential risks. The Israeli Ministry of Defense has also made arrangements to provide continuous updates and safety instructions.

In the event of an emergency, information regarding potential missile attacks will be sent directly to every smartphone.

The embassy further emphasized that as soon as a siren is heard, individuals must immediately seek shelter in the nearest security bunker or fortified room.

Considering the current situation, the Sri Lankan Embassy will remain open today (31) from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The embassy noted that routine services can be obtained during these hours.
