The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Israel, Nimal Bandara, told the Serenbona media network that the pre-departure awareness program, which prepares 259 Sri Lankans selected for construction services in Israel, was held yesterday (21).

Bandara further stated that the event was attended by Gamini Senarath Yapa, Additional General Manager of the Foreign Relations Division of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment, his staff, and Mrs. Nilmini Abeygunawardena, advisor of the Labour Welfare Division of the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel. He also mentioned that this group is scheduled to arrive in Israel within the next two weeks.
