President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to leave for the United States of America tomorrow (22) night.

During this visit, the President is expected to participate in the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. On Wednesday (24), at 3.15 p.m. U.S. time, he will address the General Assembly.

While on this visit, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is also due to hold bilateral discussions with the Secretary-General of the United Nations and several world leaders.

The President will additionally attend a meeting with Sri Lankans residing in the United States.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Mr. Vijitha Herath, will accompany President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on this visit.
