Reverend Father Benedict Joseph Fernando, the former director of the Sri Lanka Catholic Mass Communication Division, has passed away.

The priest, who had been ill for a long time, was living out his final years at the “Evening Stars” retirement home in Havelock, which belongs to the Catholic Church.
