It is reported that former President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) this morning (22) to provide a statement.

He came in response to a summons from the CID.

The reason for his visit is an ongoing investigation related to a trip he and his wife, Maithree Wickremesinghe, took to London while he was president to attend her graduation ceremony.
