The main religious service of the annual Madhu Mata Shrine Festival in Mannar, held by Catholic devotees in Sri Lanka, took place in a grand manner on the morning of the 15th.

Hundreds of thousands of Catholic devotees participated in this highly revered service, which was also attended by government representatives, including the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs, Dr. Hiniduma Sunil Senavi, and the Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Krishantha Abeyasena.
