A cordial meeting took place between President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and the Malaysian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka, His Excellency Badli Hisham bin Adam, at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday afternoon (12).

Both parties focused on further strengthening the close ties between Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

The Malaysian High Commissioner expressed his country’s readiness to share its recent achievements and expertise with Sri Lanka, particularly in the fields of tourism, trade and education.

Dr Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, Secretary to the President and Roshan Gamage, Senior Additional Secretary to the President, were also in attendance.
