The Sri Lanka Milk Powder Importers’ Association states that the price of a 400g packet of imported milk powder has been increased by Rs. 100.

Accordingly, the price of a 1kg packet of imported milk powder has been increased by Rs. 250.

The Milk Powder Importers’ Association mentioned that this price hike was decided due to the 25% to 30% increase in global market milk powder prices over the past six months.
