The first match of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) cricket series between the visiting Bangladesh team and the Sri Lanka team is scheduled to be held today, July 2nd, at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.

This day-night match is set to begin at 2:30 PM today. Additionally, a three-match Twenty20 (T20) cricket series between the two nations is also scheduled, with the first T20 match starting on the 10th.

In this series, Mehidy Hasan Miraz will captain the Bangladesh ODI team for the first time, while Charith Asalanka will lead the Sri Lankan team.
