The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has announced that legal action will be taken against salt products currently on the market that do not display information about the local manufacturer or importer, or a retail price.

The CAA stated that salt without importer or manufacturer details is now being released into the market. The Chairman urged traders to keep records of those from whom they purchased such products. The CAA further warned that legal action would be pursued against traders found in possession of goods without proper bills or information.
