The “Punarudayata Maga” project, aiming to develop 1000 selected rural roads, launched its inaugural program yesterday (24) in Dehiwala.

This special project, under the Ministry of Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation, has an allocated budget of 19 billion rupees.

In its first phase, 55 roads will be developed with an allocation of 14 billion rupees. An additional 5 billion will be added later, bringing the total allocated amount to 19 billion rupees.
