Following US attacks on areas around Iran’s nuclear facilities, several Iranian missile strikes have targeted northern and central urban areas of Israel, announced Nimal Bandara, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to Israel, in a statement.

In his statement, the Ambassador further noted that the Israeli defense authorities have warned that this situation could escalate throughout the day. Therefore, he urges all Sri Lankans in Israel to follow safety instructions to protect themselves from potential attacks amidst these circumstances.
