A special announcement has been issued by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Israel regarding the tense situation that has arisen following the series of attacks launched by Israel on Iran during the early hours of today (13).
The embassy’s statement indicates that due to flight restrictions implemented in light of the unrest, Sri Lankan citizens planning to travel to or from Israel are advised to postpone their flights until further notice.

Furthermore, transportation services have been halted, and Israel has instructed all residents to proceed to safe locations. The Sri Lankan Embassy advises its citizens in Israel to prioritize their safety and remain near shelters to protect themselves from potential missile attacks by hostile parties.
The embassy also advises Sri Lankans to keep drinking water and dry food readily available at all times. They also state that embassy officials can be reached by phone 24 hours a day.
